We map your actual work — the tools, the gaps, the shape your role needs.
Secondary · Closed Cohort
Eight people. One company. Real internal tooling shipped.
4 weeks. Up to 8 seats. Custom-scheduled to your team's availability.
Companies with 5-30 employees who want a coordinated team-wide AI training that produces real internal tooling. The shape that works between individual cohort seats and a full Company Install.
Same four-week curriculum as the Open Cohort, run privately for your company. Customized to your operating realities. The cohort ships internal tooling the company keeps using.
How it works
Diagnose. Build. Hand you the keys.
One method, three moves: we map your actual work, build your private brain from it, and hand you the keys — owned, portable, queryable from anywhere.
We build your private brain from it — your corpus, indexed and queryable.
It's yours. Reach it from any LLM, at your own subdomain. You own it.
How the closed cohort works.
Eight people from one company, trained together on your real problems.
Up to eight people from one company, four weeks, scheduled around your team’s availability. The curriculum runs as cohort and team-building at once.
Six to eight operational problems picked with leadership. Examples and exercises tuned to your context — sales ops takes the sales workflow, B2B SaaS gets B2B examples.
By demo day you have working internal tools plus eight people who can build more. All shipped projects, prompts, and configs are the company’s IP.
When the closed cohort is the right shape.
The closed cohort sits between two offerings: deeper than sending one person to the Open Cohort, lighter than a Company Install. It’s for companies who want their team to learn together, customize the projects to their actual use cases, and end up with real internal tooling — without the full institutional architecture of an Install.
A common shape: a 15-person company where leadership wants the senior team of 8 trained on AI together, each shipping a tool that solves one of the company’s operational problems.
Another: a department within a larger company — sales, ops, product — where the head wants the team trained as a unit on workflows specific to their function. The cohort doubles as team-building and capability-building.
“By the end of the four weeks, the company has eight working internal tools plus eight employees who can build more.”
What customization looks like
Five ways closed differs from open.
Project selection
6–8 internal problems picked with leadership. Participants choose, often by natural ownership — sales ops takes the sales workflow. Tools ship as internal tooling the company keeps.
Curriculum tuning
Same four-week structure, examples and exercises tuned to your context. B2B SaaS gets B2B examples. Healthcare gets healthcare. Patterns are universal; examples make them concrete.
Schedule
Scheduled around your team's availability. Twice-weekly across one month, or stretched across two if that fits your calendar better.
IP + tooling
All shipped projects owned by the company. Working tools, prompts, configurations — yours, and part of the company's AI footprint.
Leadership briefings
Two 60-min briefings: kickoff (what to expect) and demo day (what shipped, what to do next). Lands organizationally, not just individually.
Closed cohorts run on your schedule
$25K · up to 8 seats · 50% credit toward an Install.
Many closed-cohort companies upgrade to a Company Install after — the cohort surfaces what the company actually needs. The fee credits 50% against the Install fee if upgraded within 90 days.
How a 4-week closed cohort runs
Two weeks of pre-work, four weeks of cohort, 30 days of follow-up.
- PRE
Setup
Leadership briefing. Project list developed and shared with participants. Participant pre-work (light reading + account setup) sent.
- W1
Foundations
Foundations + project selection. Each participant locks the project they'll ship.
- W2–3
Build
Hands-on tool work. Group critique sessions. Most projects ship their first working version this window.
- W4
Polish + demo
Internal demo day. Leadership attends. Each participant presents. Company decides what to keep, refine, retire.
- +30
Office hours
Weekly group sessions for the month after for iteration support. Optional conversion to Company Install if leadership decides.

Common questions
Asked, answered.
Why $25K for up to 8 seats vs. 8 × $1,500 = $12,000 for individual open seats?
The closed cohort isn’t individual training run 8 times. It’s a custom-scheduled cohort with customized curriculum, leadership briefings, internal-tool ownership, and a follow-on Install credit. The premium reflects the customization work and the institutional outcome — real tools the company keeps using. Pure-individual training is what the Open Cohort is for.
Can we run multiple closed cohorts back-to-back?
Yes. Some companies run one with the senior team, a second with operating leadership, a third with department heads. The patterns stay consistent; the project focus shifts. Multi-cohort engagements get scoped together, typically at a 15-20% discount on the total.
What if a participant can't attend all sessions?
The cohort works best with full attendance, but life happens. Recordings are available, and we schedule live sessions around the team’s known conflicts. Missing one or two sessions out of eight is recoverable; missing more usually means the seat should be reassigned.
Can leadership attend the live sessions?
Leadership attends the kickoff briefing and demo day. Mid-cohort sessions are participant-only — leadership presence changes the dynamic, and the cohort works best when people push each other directly without watching their language.
What about confidentiality of the projects?
The closed cohort is private by definition — projects are visible only to participants and leadership. We sign whatever NDA the company puts in front of us. The tools developed in the cohort are the company’s IP outright.
